GEMS ENTERPRISE MANAGED NETWORK PROGRAM

In the past, IT might have supported a few hundred owned devices and a handful of internally delivered services. Now, with the growth of Public Cloud, SaaS Applications,

Mobile Devices, Remote Workers, Internet of Things (IoT), and more, IT must support end users, applications and endpoints across their growing network landscape. Because of this explosive growth, IT is faced with new challenges that are not easily overcome with traditional internal support models.

CISCO Channel Premier Partner

This is why GCSIT created the GEMS Enterprise Managed Networks Program.

The GEMS Enterprise Managed Networks program answers the need for dependable, consistent management and multi-tiered support of Enterprise Network environments including Route/Switch, Unified Communications, and Network Security – without having to internalize all those human resources.

GEMS Flow 2Drawn from years of experience in highly specialized Networking Professional Services design and delivery, GCSIT has identified critical processes, monitoring, and operational support requirements that minimize risk to the organization and occur not on “best efforts,” but with precision and predictability. We have packaged them into a structured, accountable and well-defined services set for delivery at a consistent monthly expense that can go down over time.

As your partner, GCSIT Certified Networking Engineers provide Network Management Services that align to your business requirements, drive out costs, and ensure predictability.

The Managed Networks Program begins with Onboarding.

Your GCSIT Portfolio and Program Manager (PPM) is assigned to act as your single point of contact. This individual leads the working teams and helps to build a mutually agreed transition strategy and a well-defined plan to ensure effective engagement and alignment.

The Onboarding engagement begins with establishing a well-informed starting point for services delivery. This may include GCSIT Quick Assess, a speedy approach to understanding the environment, or a more comprehensive GCSIT Network Assessment to ensure understanding of your network and system topology.

The network assessment digs deep to understand business drivers, the current infrastructure, technical requirements, and services needs. As part of the network assessment, a Network Engineer works with your staff to perform a detailed examination of the network configurations and all connected devices.

GCSIT will provide remediation recommendations for any items found in the network assessment that sit outside of best practices. These topics are all discussed during follow-up workshops with formalized documentation compiled into a report identifying areas where potential configuration issues or vulnerabilities create risk for your business.

After the assessment phase of Onboarding, GCSIT Team Members work with defined customer point(s) of contact to plan how design and implementation of the ongoing service set will be delivered. Effective planning includes establishing organizational service level goals prioritized by business group and business outcome.

The On-Boarding Process includes clear timelines and transition goals aligned to meet those desired outcomes. During this phase, GCSIT creates customer-specific contact, how-to, and point-in-time environmental documentation to be reviewed and approved by your defined point(s) of contact. This information will also be uploaded to and made available from the Shared Documentation Platform that GCSIT provides as part of the ongoing GEMS Service.
